The Cherokee County Music Society was formed in January, 2007 by founding members Sandy Serge and Mark Waterbury, both Cherokee County, GA residents. Sandy owns and operates Cherokee County's Serge Entertainment Group (http://www.sergeentertainmentgroupcom). The Society is open to all musicians, songwriters, music industry professionals, and music-related businesses located in Cherokee County, Georgia.
MISSION STATEMENT
- • To create opportunities for musicians, songwriters and music-related merchants within Cherokee County by developing more opportunities to increase visibility while preserving integrity and striving for excellence in the music community
• To create more awareness about the music community within Cherokee County
• To create more educational opportunities for songwriters and musicians within Cherokee County
