CCMS Meeting Minutes

• We need more younger members and their involvement.
• Needing to contact local schools to somehow get the music department involved with our organization.
• Perhaps sponsoring a school event.
• Student Member discount.
• Kevin mentioned contacting someone at Etowah High School to get them involved.

• Discussed current member activity and how many members we have to date.
• Need to come up with a plan of action to get more members.

• Sandy asked about doing buttons and stickers to promote our organization.
• She came up with a contest to have our members to create a snappy slogan for the buttons and stickers.

• Kevin mentioned that Woodstock Coffee House is wanting to do music every week.
• All in an agreement that the Serene Bean has been a great place to play our music.
• There was a emphasis that we would like for the clubs to allow more original music.
• Margaret mentioned that we could possibly do a singer/songwriter night at the Courtyard Cafe in Canton.
• July 4th Parade - Need everyone's help with the parade.
• Mark mentioned maybe we can use His Hands Place to do a Christian Music Night
• Margie mentioned that we may could try get involved with the Taste of Canton that the city has each year.
• Sandy mentioned having a conference call meeting, perhaps then more people will get involved and attend the meetings.
